Hi, I’m Amy Eaton, M.S.
Coaching with me is not simply a product or service. It’s a relationship where I learn about you, help encourage you, and serve as a thought partner. You’re seeking to create work that matters, and I am honored to have a front row seat to your ability to thrive in that impactful work!
What makes me different?
I am a woman of faith and my faith frames my work even as someone with 25+ years in corporate America. I have learned it’s unique that I am openly and unapologetically a Christian woman in secular work. Though I carry myself with kindness everywhere I serve, and this allows me to build relationships with people regardless of whether they share my beliefs. Though my faith shapes how I show up: with integrity, with meekness that is not weakness, with a conviction that people are made for more than survival and exhaustion. I have modeled faith in deeply secular environments and have been told (by people who don't share my beliefs) that it inspired them. That is not my doing, but most certainly the Lord! And it is what happens when you lead from who you actually are when your identity is rooted confidently and firmly in Him.
What I offer my clients is not a formula. It is a trusted partnership. I am a thought partner who will sit with you in the complexity, ask the questions you haven't thought to ask yet, help you see what you've been too close to see, and walk alongside you as you build something sustainable: in your leadership, your team, your culture, and yourself.
I don't have all the answers. I never promise that I will.
What I promise is this: you will not be alone in your journey when you bring me along as a coach, and you will leave conversations clearer than when you came in.
For professionals: I specialize in thought partnership, navigating complex challenges in the people space, preparing for tough conversations, burnout prevention and workplace boundaries, whole-person theology and healthy identity in the workplace, and more.
For writers/authors: the same list above applies here, as well as boundaries for authors/writers, healthy rhythms as a writer working full-time and/or juggling family focus, utilizing AI tools with integrity and caution to honor creative gifts, professional partnership considerations (e.g. editors, designers, photographers, etc.), self-publishing consulting for Amazon KDP and/or IngramSpark, and more.
I can’t wait to work with you!
Professional Partnerships
Writer / Author Partnerships
I am not a typical professional coach or consultant.
I am a Christ-follower. I believe our vocation matters to God and that we can honor Him in our work. I will navigate our conversations through the lens of my faith in Jesus. We will pray together, and we will consider what Scripture tells us that may be relevant to the challenge(s) you’re facing. Experience-wise, I have already spent more than twenty-five years inside corporate America. Not observing it from the outside, but living it. From the frontlines of customer service and sales, to the strategy rooms where culture change and leadership development get designed. From training facilitators and performance improvement to organizational development, leadership consultation, and over the last 10+ years, advising executives in multiple industries (telecom, insurance, healthcare, utilities/nuclear power). I’m an Industrial-Organizational Psychology practitioner who brings a scientific ear and approach to my work.
I have sat with leaders at every level, from the brand-new manager terrified to have their first hard conversation to the senior executive who needed someone honest enough to say what no one else would. I’ll challenge your thinking and help you consider what and who may be missing in your strategy. When helping consult and develop instructional design, I have designed learning that doesn't just happen in a classroom. Only 10% of what sticks comes from training, 20% from conversation and connection, and 70% from putting it into practice on the job, so I’ve designed learning experiences with accountability built into every layer.
I coach because I believe people are worth developing. Not just their skills — their whole person.
I bring to every engagement what 25+ years of real work has given me: strategic thinking and street-level practicality. The ability to zoom out to 30,000 feet and then come right back down to the ground with you. Honest, courageous conversation, the kind most people are too afraid to have, delivered with humility and genuine care. I will not tell you what you want to hear, I’ll tell you what I see, and I’ll partner with you to think through what to do about it.
I have been writing for decades, and self-publishing for 5+ years. When I self-published my first book, I felt overwhelmed. I had no budget and did everything on the smallest dime! Then later, with my Hope When It’s Heavy project, I invested intentionally and explored traditional and hybrid publishing options (though ultimately choosing to self-publish).
There’s a lot of noise out there for self-publishing. I don’t have all the answers, and will never promise that I will. Though what I will offer you is an encouraging voice and a safe place to ask your questions as you explore sharing your written words with the world! I can help you consider options between Amazon exclusivity and expanded distribution (my preferred partner for ED is Ingram Spark). I will share all that I’ve learned, and am happy to connect you with some amazing professionals too if your budget allows and you’re interested.
Limited Hours
I work a corporate job, too. I’m only available for coaching or consulting outside of 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. ET. My standard availability is Monday evenings 6:30 - 8 p.m. ET or Saturdays 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. I will meet with you in the following modalities: virtual (Zoom, Teams, or FaceTime, or a resource of yours), audio/phone.
Coaching or Consulting?
Both coaching and consulting engagements will mean we meet on an ongoing basis with a minimum commitment retainer of 4 or more sessions. My Consulting services can be a one-to two-session connection with targeted thought-partnership topics to drive our conversation outcomes. Pricing is always a question; I’d love to explore that with you in an initial intake call. Click “Book an Appointment” above to get connected.
